I want to buy a new double tomorrow... which one should I get?

I have a DD (20 months) and a DS (6 months). So far I have had an Obaby XI (similar to P&T) and a Graco Stadium Duo. I've hated them both.

The Graco is huge and very heavy, I can't lift it properly when it's folded and DS has started to kick DD in the back of her seat.

I dislike the Obaby as I can't recline either child in it at the moment and they both regularly sleep in the pram. Also, I've broken the one I've got Blush

I do a fair bit of walking, especially to the shops. Occasionally need to get on a bus or train but not too frequently. I don't drive but DH does. We've got a Toyota Lucida though so space isn't an issue. Both babies weigh almost the same as DD is very petite and DS is huge :) this rules out anything where he will get too squashed.

I like the look of the Nipper and the BJCM doublebut I'm not sure if I'll get them through the front door. This isn't too big of issue though as I currently have to unload them one by one so that I can lift the Graco over the front step.

We are going on a day out to the coast in Sunday and would really like to get a new double before then or we will have to take two singlesust had an overpayment refunded to us today which is why it's such short notice.

So, which should I go for? I'm open to all suggestions

I have a first wheels city twin, and i love it. DS is now almost seven months and dd is 2.3, so not far from coming out of it, but it's been fantastic. DS is still in the carrycot bit and the seat unit can be turned so you can either have them looking at you or out at the world. Very lightweight and easy to push, easy to fold down, but is quite big when folded - i keep mine in the car as we simply don't have the room here.

They are very expensive when new but i got mine off ebay for a bargainous £100.

I'm getting the baby jogger city select. It's awesome. It's a tandem so no proms with doors, the back child is higher up rather than lower down so both kids get a good view. You can have both kids facing you, facing out, facing each other or one facing you one facing out. It folds in one piece (although will be slightly bulkier with the 2nd seat unit on, huge shopping basket, huge hoods, I have a BIG 15 month old and he has loads of room in the seats. The hood has 2 height positions and the footrest extends too!

Nipper double is amazing, Only had it a few days and it's brilliant, best pushchair I've pushed yet, both seats recline and my toddler loves it already

Sorry, I've only just had chance to respond to this, thank you all for your replies.

We didn't go for the pram until Tuesday. I went for the BJCM in the end, largely because of the ease of folding it and the huge hoods (DS hates the sun on his face)

I've used it a couple of times already and so far I love it although the basket isn't very easy to access. As a bonus, I discovered last night that I can get it through the front door without folding it :)
