bugaboo cameleon or gecko with buggy board?

Just wondering if anyone can tell me which would be better? From what I can see on pics, the gecko looks like it would be better and easier to push with a buggy board (lascal probably) as dd could fit inside the handle and carrycot due to the long handle. Not sure if Im right though! Something smaller would be better as I use (walk on) buses a lot. The cameleon looks like she would have to go in between my arms and handle therefore I would have less leg room. Im not very tall so not sure if adjusting handle on cam would work. I really want a cameleon though, they just look more snug and cosy and I like the fleece hoods! I am debating getting a gecko with cam hood rods so I can change colours but not sure if it will look quite 'right' iykwim? Also does anyone know if a cam carrycot will fit a gecko? Any help appreciated!

poshbugs makes custom hoods for the gecko I believe. Cam carrycot will def. not fit a gecko, the gecko seat frame is quite a bit shorter. You could put one of the bee nests inside the carrycot to make it cosy though if you wanted.

I've got a cameleon and Lascal maxi buggy board and it works a treat ! I do have to extend the handlebars to the maximum though, which gives DS enough room to stand inside the handle and hold on to the handle sides. I've attached the board with the fasteners underneath the shopping basket (contrary to lascal instructions, but suggested here on Mumsnet! ) which gives you a fair bit more leg room but still leaves room for DS to stand easily.
Found it easy to push once I'd got the hang of it with the board and it ties up nicely out of the way !
