Hi there,

I need a bit of advice! am aware what I want might not actually exist! What prams/pushchairs exist that are parent and outward facing that can collapse without taking apart and that isn't too big/heavy? I had the M & P pramette last time but was wondering if there was anything else that isn't too pricey (will be looking on ebay probably!) any thoughts?

hmm...

I always coveted the M&P Luna - it's not rear facing as such, but you can get a carry cot for it, so would be until the baby outgrew it, plus it's got a nice big, total lie-flat seat, and it folds up nice and small and is easy to manouvre.

In another life i'd love the M&P Urbo - is that am option?

Budget - Upto about £150ish I reckon (but we were hoping to get a car seat chucked with that too!) see I told you I was asking the impossible!

Good ideas Jareth - will look out for them, pricey again though! Really not sure what I want exists!

The Neonato Reverso is quality reversible pushchair that usually goes for a pittance second hand on ebay. Probably because they rarely come up and they're not trendy or popular like some brands but it is a good pushchair and usually comes as a travel system with car seat. Not sure how small it folds though. It's worth a look, comes in 3 or 4 wheeler.

Quinny Zapp Xtra is coming out soon.
I don't see enough information provided about it on the web to tell you if it can fold with seat reversed or not yet. Might be worth looking into as the standard zapp has some very nice features (like sealed ball bearing wheels making it run very smoothly - and compact lightweight fold - and quality fabrics/harness).
Not so keen on Loola - due to it's dislike of being reversed/pulled backwards up steps (personally)...doing this makes the back wheels splay and it won't manouver properly.

What about the standard quinny zapp with car seat? Might be within your budget.
Look on www.kiddicare.com for bargain prams too.

Thanks all - just got to make a decision now! Maybe I should just sling it for 3 months and then buy something forward facing!

If you're going to sling for a while - then find a ff - I'd say the micralite superlite at kiddicare.com in red or grey are awesome deals at £129.99 because they have the snuggle bag included. the hammock seat is comfy for kids and the air tyres make a smooth ride. you could use a head hugger and recline position from around 3/4months I think!
