The interior is a bit too white, but I don't find it off putting. I like pastel colours and understated decor anyway. Light and airy all the way for me.

The outside is very pretty.

The house isn't particularly ostentatious, and not all that bit, considering though I don't suppose it's their only house

Apart from the aubergine room I don't understand what is so awful about the decor. I don't like loud, intrusive decor.

MiddleAgedMother the house is 6,600 sft. It's very big. Given it also on 6 acres it's not likely to be overlooked at all.

Seems like a nice house with pretty neutral decor. Like others, don't understand those saying it's 'hideous'

I also like the house, simple decor but nicely done.
Having said that, I wonder when celebrities' houses are up for sale, aren't these all staged up by interior designers to make them somewhat neutral decor-wise?
I find it difficult to believe celebrities would leave their stuff in plain view for everyone to have a good look through...
