I'm looking for this shade of blue paint. Has anybody got anything similar in their home?

Dulux pebble drift series?

I'd seriously recommend you to go to places like Homebase or even better, Brewers (they have tons of nicest paint brands in one place), if you can. They have bigger colour cards so you can see better than small colour charts. And in paint shops, dulux would have huge colour charts so you'll be able to see better.

scratch the above - not very close

closer would be probably Dulux heritage indigo but it may be slightly richer than you'd want

We have bone china blue from LittleGreene, but is a bit too grey for what you want to match - this one looks quite similar in colour though.

If you're finding it difficult to match though I'd say the best thing would be to bring in the actual picture to a decent paint shop and ask them to mix it specially for you.

Thanks for the suggestions. We have a Brewers and I hadn't thought of going there.

I have the decorator coming on Monday so I'm panicking now that I haven't chosen a colour!

Its a large room with big windows and high ceilings. There are big trees outside though which mean the room is slightly darker than it should be. I'm afraid that if I go too dark with paint that I will regret it. On the other hand I'm also afraid of regretting it if I'm not brave. I was going to go for Crown Etiquette but I'm worried that it may be too light. I want to avoid anything too cold or "baby " blue toned .

See if you have a B&Q that sells Valspar paint? www.diy.com/diy/jsp/content/marketing/valspar/index.jsp#Store_Finder they claim to be able to match any colour and have loads of tester cards to take away and sell tester pots
