Ikea Borgsjo - what sort of white is it?

Does anyone have any items from the Ikea Borgsjo range? I am looking at this corner desk, but although it's described as 'white', the woodgrain effect looks quite greyish on my screen. I want to put it next to a wardrobe with a white Bergsbo door. Not sure if it's just going to end up looking murky.

Also, if anyone actually has that corner desk and could let me know how deep it is at the sides, that would be very useful. It looks as though the desktop overhangs a little bit at the front, but the website doesn't give the depth of the pedestal bits or the desk itself.

I don't have it, but it doesn't look like it will be the same white your wardrobe.

Can you fit a Hemnes desk instead?

Or maybe change the doors on the wardrobe? This one looks a nice colour depending on what ekse you had in the room here

Or stick corkboard tiles over your existing doors and then cover in cotton / any fabric and you have turnned your wardrobe into a notice board - perfect for next to a desk :o Or paint with metallic blackboard paint?

Thanks both, you have confirmed my fears that it would be a mismatch. We also considered the Hemnes corner workstation, which is proper white (and a nicer desk, in my opinion), but about £200 more expensive. DH is not a fan of the shelves above the desk, although I quite like them.

Actually we don't have the wardrobe yet, but our plan was to get one of the shallow ones to hide away our filing and office clutter. The reason for choosing a Bergsbo door is because we already have some, and we might want to put them in a run later. It's not a bad idea to get a cheapo plain door and customise it.

But actually that turquoise door looks rather nice. It's not something I would have considered before. The other thing in the room will be a Lycksele sofa bed in blue, which may or may not clash horribly with it.

Hmm. The best thing would be to go and look at the colours in real life, but I am desperately trying to avoid another trip to Ikea!

I have a couple of hemnes pieces and it is not a 'white' white, it is a creamy off white. You wouldn't be able to put it with a pure white item.
