WWYD? Bigger bedroom or massive storage?

We have added a double extension onto the side of our house adding a new bedroom and new bathroom up stairs.
The old bathroom is going to become hallway to get into the new rooms, but about 3/4 of it will be spare space.
The original plan was to knock the wall down between the 2nd bedroom and the bathroom making the bedroom bigger.
Now I'm thinking it might be a better idea to use the space for some big walk in cupboards in the new hallway.

My thinking is, at some point I'd like to change the loft space into a usable room, so the extra storage space would be very handy for things like suitcases, christmas decs etc.

What would you rather have, extra room in the bedroom, (which is for Ds age 2) or massive storage space?

TIA

i'd have a big hallway (the whole of the bathroom) and use the space as a kind of snug/library or even study.

we've had a double extension and although its great the problem is that the hallway and landing spaces seem too small relative to the size of the house. A big landing that would really open it up

How about doing a hybrid - so you build a large storage unit half of which is accessible from the hallway for general storage and half is accessible from the bedroom by making openings in the wall as built in wardrobe space for clothes/toys? That way you'd gain more space in the bedroom as wouldn't need wardrobe/toy storage and you'd gain storage space for household stuff too.
