Can I put roller blinds on conservatory windows?

I have a Victorian style glass conservatory and need to put blinds up (south facing). I really don't want Venetian. The Walls and table are white (quite modern) and I was thinking of putting up White roller blinds. Would this be weird?

No. Wouldn't get dusty like Venetian and would look minimalist.
White or maybe off white????

Thanks. Definitely White. What about over the doors? Would it be odd to have a roller blind there?

No I have roller blinds in my conservatory, which is like a breakfast room on my kitchen, and one over the door too, the sun shines in for most of the day and can make it unbearably hot at times, this completely solves the problem.

Mine are cream to go with the pale beige walls.

I had roller blinds in mine because they were cheap Grin

I had them on the doors too, depending on how much frame you have above your doors and windows you could put your roller blind above the door rather than on it but for me they would all have to line up in a straight line.

Mine were on the doors but I just made sure they were rolled up if the doors were open to stop them flapping about in the wind.

Slight thread hi-jack here, but where did you get your roller blinds from ie were they made to measure? Would you recommend whoever made and fitted them?

Thanks
