My DS (Yr1) is a sensitive soul but yesterday strangled 2 girls in his class because they were being horrible to him

School have dealt with it (effectively in his case, but probably less so in the eyes of the girls parents) And I'm meeting with his teacher this evening to talk about ways to help him deal with normal playground life.

He doesn't do this all the time, but since reception this is the fourth incident with one of the little girls.

Help please.

I would tell the teacher how you are dealing with this at home - ie telling ds that this behaviour is unacceptable and must stop - and then ask the teacher for suggestions. If these girls are being horrible, tell him to avoid them or report them to a teacher.

Sounds like a huge personality clash with the 4th-time little girl.
DS1 has something similar with a boy in his year, which is partly why I'm moving him to another school, soon.
