did you get an email confirmation or receipt of your accepting place? I am such a checky checker and freaks me out that I don't know for sure that i clicked the right button and that her place is secured.
I am such a bear of little brain that it is not beyond realms of poss for me to have declined it by accident.
Just wish there was something visible saying they received my acceptance...seems weird there isn't.

I haven't had any confirmation of acceptance. I guess you could probably login and check the status or when you receive the letter confirming your place send that back as well to make doubly sure!

Was quite surprised that our letter arrived in the post today - after we had checked online.

Snap - I accepted online, but was surprised that there was no 'Your acceptance has been registered' page.

I will probably ring the school to check it's gone through in the next couple of weeks, just in case.

It such a rubbish interface - if you login again it is just the same page containing info on how to accept or decline but now minus the online form.
I guess if you didn't get anything either as a electronic receipt then its probably fine.
I wish I hadn't done it in such a hurry with no sleep under my belt!
thanks for reply

I did it twice as was worried it hadn't done it the first time. Then logged out and logged back in and nothing different. Think I will reply back with slip from the letter when it comes to make sure!

You could look at this another way. If by chance you do not get an offer of a place, then you have a real opportunity to win at an appeal. If you can show that you sent the email then it is up to Surrey to show that they never received it. If they can't and you can show it went from your computer then their system has a massive flaw in it and a panel will have to give serious consideration as to whether the LA have not kept to the process.

In my LA they certainly send an acknowledgement of receiving an electronic submission for places.

Yeah thanks admission, that meant precisely nothing to me. I hope that made sense in your head cos it sure as hell didn't make any sense to me.

Made sense to me - thanks admission (would rather just have the place though )

made perfect sense to me too and having been to appeal last year with surrey county council, this is exactly the (only) type of technicality you will win on. keep and date copies of everything.

I am pretty sure though that we got letters last year confirming which place we had been offered (or not) a few days after it was available online and you had to fill that form out and drop it off at the school. In fact I am sure of it as I remember being particularly annoyed that the letter had a paragraph saying congratulation on your place at school we wish ds1
