Advice about statements please?

Dd 7(yesterday) has a statement giving her 20 hours of support per week.
Dd got her statement before she started nursery as she has autism and was significantly developmentally delayed.
Now in year two she isn't delayed at all in any area and will most likely get 3s in her SATs later this year.
At her last review LIO did say that she would need her attainment levels at this coming review which concerns me a little.
Are the LEA likely to want to withdraw her statement on the basis that her attainment is above average?
Is a statement there to enable a child to achieve their potential or to prevent them failing?
Added to her academic ability dd has no behaviour problems and actually doesn't need too much individual support at the moment.
School are working on increasing her confidence and her independence so expect that eventually she won't need any at alL.
I want to keep her statement because as concepts become more complex I suspect she will need support then to understand them and the statement will ensure priority placement in secondary.
I don't doubt school do too as an extra adult and extra funding is very welcome.
I am under no illusion that dd wouldn't get a statement if I had to ask now and don't want to lose it and have to fight to get it back later.
Anyone have experience of LEA wishing to withdraw a statement and what I should bear in mind when it comes to the review?
Many thanks

hi, i'm a teacher in a special school - it is unlikely that the statement would be withdrawn, but very possible that the number of hours be decreased to reflect her current ability

I would need to keep 15 hours becuase have heard on the grapevine that LEA don't feel that a statement giving less than 12 and a half hours is "worth it" and would probably be pushed to school action plus. Is 15 hours feasible do you think?

I am thrilled with the progress she has made as a result of the support she has recieved both at school and at home.
I don't want to lose any hours tbh because I am well aware that success now doesn't necessarily ensure continued success.
With it being a transition review and a move to year three with more demands, new teachers, routines and higher expectations I suspect dd will need what support she has got to make the transfer a success.
On paper she shouldn't be where she is tbh (development between 6 and 12 months at age two and moderate to severe autism) and I will do everything in my power to ensure she continues to make progress and achieves her potential.
i don't doubt that the progress she has made is because she has had support from her first day at nursery and I suspect that she may flounder without the access to support that her statement ensures.
