Relocating to London with 3 kids

Coming to London from Paris with 3 kiddies and am considering St Christina for them. Trick is they are 4 and 6 and nearly only speak French. They offered to put biggest in Y1 instead of Y2 but I'm concerned she may get bored as far as other parts of the curriculum are concerned...any experience to share on the ability of this school(or others) to help with non native speakers? Thanks!!

Dont know anything about St Christina's But 2 children joined my sons class in year 3 (age7) with no English.neither could read in their native language when they arrived. They were put in the correct class for there age. I think for both of them the first few months were difficult. But within a year the both spoke very good English One is in the top group for maths now. The other middle for everything. Now 2 years on they both sound English! This was a state school not a private one.

friend of mine did this the other way round - from London to Paris with a 7 year old and a nearly 4 year old who spoke virtually no French - her 7 year old ds got put up into the equivalent of Y3 because of where his birthday fell so found the first year quite tricky, but 3 years on, they're both completely fluent

they're all still young enough to be very adaptable

my dc's primary has lots of kids come in with no English and within months, they're chatting away sounding like they've lived all their lives in London
