our initial ideas for this term have had to be cancelled and really don't know what to do.

so, what are your plans for the next couple of months?

Well if you tell us what you cancelled and why that might be a good place to start.

we have a Valentines disco before half term, then an Easter bonnet parade and Easter raffle. We need to get our bums in gear and get some events sorted, but are struggling for support.

DC's old primary do pamper nights which are very successful. They rent out tables to beauticians/therapists etc who then charge for their services usually a set fee for 15min treatments.

thanks. had disco planned but dj let us down.

ideas are great, maybe think about easter fair....

we did a new to you sale last year Pfff but just rented tables out rather than taking a percentage. also run a tombola and tea, coffee and cake. made £400 in the two hours.

what are bags to school???
also, with film at school, do you have to have some licence??

Report
Clary · 24/01/2010 18:44

yes you have to get a licence for film at school.

It's not a massive fundraiser tbh (about a couple of hundred ££ and the more kids there the more you pay IYSWIM) btu the organisation is pretty minmal and the kids seem to really really enjoy the chance to have a night out with their mates and no parents!

This is bags2school (www.bag2school.com). We use it and have raised over £650 per collection. Presume this is what people are referring to.
