He got very weepy last night at bedtime (he's yr 6)- I thought it was because he'd had such a great timein the snow etc, and was feeling a bit miffed about starting back at school again.
Cried this morning- said he didn't feel well- but sent him off. I called his teacher and explained things- she's just called to say that 4 boys in the class have been excluding him, running off, calling him names.
Anyway, they've been spoken to, and told if it happens again, their parents will be informed.
Poor boy- I knew there was something.I shall remember this the next time one of the parents rings me to see if I can have their son in the holidays (ie free child care for them) [hmmm]

I know, I'm just being childish.
At least with boys, they will no doubt be out playing football and not holding grudges like girls!

Aw, that's so so sad. How brilliant that the teacher took the time to call you back though. Sounds like there's a strong chance it's being well dealt with. Kids can be foul. Hopefully when you pick him up he'll feel it's being dealt with and be happier.
