Newish head who apparently uncovered a can of worms when she took over.(bullying mainly)
Quite ethnically diverse- mainly Polish/East European as opposed to any others.

I am weighing it up between Hollymount and West Wim. Slightly nearer to hollymount. According to ofsted it has a more favourable social mix than WW but I'm not sure if that's good. Thanks for the info.

Mmm interesting- I know both schools. WWim had outstanding ofsted, and has a very wide mix of children- on balance I prefer that one.
Very inclusive, a more lively feel in the school- just more buzzy.

That's interesting. I am due to see HM soon so will see what I think. I agree about WW but I just struggle to get past the grounds. What with the fly over and railway whereas HM is how imagine a primary to look.

Know what you mean- we used to live by Hollymount- it's a lovely school too.
Trust your judgement!!

My child attended reception at Hollymount before we moved away, we loved it there, no complaints. My friends with children still there are very happy with the new head. It's so popular it's taking bulge classes and may become 2 form entry. This would concern me as the grounds and hall aren't large.

Most schools in the area are having extra classes- lots of schools going 2 or 3 form entry due to ever increasing children arriving in the area. Not so much to do with popularity of the school- just extra children in a very densely populated area.

They have a newsletter on their website which mentions having plans drawn up to extend the school. I will ask when we go and see it. Thanks again.
