Do you give Easter presents to teachers????

My DD finishes school tomorrow for easter. I saw a mum go in today with a huge box of hyacinth plants to give to the teachers in her Dd's class and the nursery class her other DD goes to.

Do you give presents?

No - dds are in secondary now so teachers don't get any pressies at all. In primary they got presents for Christmas and at the end of the school year.

I am a secondary teacher though and if anybody wants to give me a present I would be very happy!

I always used to buy his teacher a large bunch of daffs...

I work in a school now and it makes my day to receive a little gift.... makes me feel appreciated...

big bunch of daffs is a fab idea, but my ds would DIE if I made him take them in! I guess I could leave them at the office for his lovely teachers...

I have done. DD finishes tomorrow. Have got her teacher a Lush easter egg and bunny, gift wrapped.

DD's teacher gave all the girls some chocolate eggs, plus I got a plant for thanks for helping out.

Has never occured to me to buy them anything for Easter. I usually send in a gift at Christmas and at the end of the school year but never at Easter. Have never noticed anyone else do it either tbh.

I get an end of term gift for them rather than Easter stuff.

Hyacinths is a lovely idea.

dd always wants to give presents at the end of each term, so at Easter they get dd-made cards and a small potted plant, usually hyacinth or daffs. They are lovely teachers, and the kids love them, so I'm happy to do that.
