Hi! Take a mud-coloured long-sleeved t-shit, some khaki or brown trousers, a rough-ish leather belt and a rectangular piece of cloth, the more rough the material, the better, sackcloth would be great, try a traditional greengrocer - any colour so long as it's brown, black or beige. Fold over cloth and cut semi-circle at fold to make hole for the head to go through. This can be a tunic, which needs to be fastened with the belt or similar. Add toy sword if available.
Good luck!

Helmet with horns - from brown cardboard boxes cut and stuck together. Or you can just ponce around telling everyone how, actually, vikings didn't have helmets with horns. But it's easier to just make the horned helmet.

We have 3 cowgirl outfits to make for next week, followed by 3 space explorer or space alien costumes (I can't remember which, must find out) for the next day. Luckily we like making things out of cardboard boxes and the dds are very into papier mache.
