Well, since going into year 1 with a ew teacher he is a different child.

He has been coming out of school with excellent stickers, loves reading and writing at home now and the change in him is so huge I can't beleive it.

No tics, no wetting or soiling, I'm so proud of him.

Imo it says alot about his reception teacher who imo is rather shite at her job.

His new teacher is loveley, kind and always smiling.

Just wanted to let others know who may be struggling - there is light at teh end of teh tunnel.

And thanks to all who contributed and advised on my numerous threads during his turbulent first year at school

I'm pleased to hear that your son is doing well in year 1.

Its sad that he had such a rotten experience in year R.

That's really lovely - so pleased for you and your son . Amazing what a difference a sympathetic teacher can make.
