Laundry pens - can't find one that is fine enough...

So I'm all for not sewing in labels, agree that iron-on ones often don't stay put, have seen the recommendations for Sharpies, so bought this one, but despite being called 'fine', it's way too thick and bleeds a bit, just doesn't work for the size of the labels. And I can't find one that seems any better...

Anyone got better suggestions?

I've got a Pilot one that works well. I've also got a job lot of Easy2Name tags that attached with a clip.

I had one from mothercare that was really good. They tend to be next to the tills.

Permanent marker works well too... Just top it up when it starts to fade :)

Thank you for the suggestions - I've gone with 'ultra fine' permanent marker, and although it bleeds a tiny bit (what do they make the labels from?!), it does the job.

I've used the Prym permanent biro and it's my favourite laundry marker by far. You have to go over the first letter a few times to get the ink flowing, but it lasts well, doesn't need fixing, and DD's name is still visible in stuff that got washed twice a week in reception (have just had it out for DS1, so been checking! :o)
