You know what I mean? Those amazing Headteachers who just click with the kids, have charisma in abundance and make the whole school a joy to be in? I'll name the first school. Ranby prep school has an AMAZING Head.

Any others? Let's get the word out!!

The head of the school my son is starting in September (just finished nursery year there and nephew already at school) is like that, she is fantastic and the school have just got a much deserved Outstanding OfSted which is no suprise.

She was deputy head when I started at the same school many years back, apparently she has worked there for over 30 years now and she is brilliant at her job

: ). Well done you. Guess this is a bit of a pointless thread really. I was really hoping people would name the schools but probably people don't want to out themselves. Oh well, never mind.

Why do you want the schools named?

Not prepared to name my DC school but the HT has been truly fab.

Dealt with DS getting bullied, not having appropriate level work (to the point where he didn't want to go to school anymore) and been totally approachable & sorted everything out.

Also being very open in how DD will be stretched in school. (Didn't ask, they just told me & the plan for DD in future years).

My sons school who have been amazing thanks to a brilliant HT and the joint HT who will be taking over from him. Both have been amazing with my DS who is autistic. Nothing fazes them and they have been very very supportive to me too.

I will name the school.....St Anne Line Catholic Junior School in Basildon. Brilliant school and very inclusive which is down to the two amazing HTs and the rest of the school staff. Cannot praise it highly enough.

I just thought it would be nice to give recognition where it's due. Fabulous leadership rarely gets recognised as it is far easier always to dwell on the more negative aspects. And yes, there is a personal reason. We are moving and my two children talk about their old Head at Ranby ALL the time. He was truly amazing and if he ever moved to a school nearer us we would move there in a heartbeat.
