Could you pls advise?

My 5-year-old child is still on the waiting list of our preferred school.

At the end of the term, we are required to fil in the in-year Common Application Form to state that we still prefer to go to another school.

There is one question in the form: "Would you prefer your child to continue going to the current school if we cannot offer your your preferences?"

I said Yes. And then, I received the council's letter, which said that they could not offer me the preferred school and that our child is still on the waiting list.

I was wondering whether it made any difference if I had said No.

Would it increase my chance?

Thank you

No it wouldn't. They're just asking if you are looking to move to any school place they have, or if you are expressing a preference for particular schools.
