Hi,
We are going up to Bletchley Park next month and thought it'd be nice to read a bit with DD before we go. Couldn't really see anything specific on Amazon, was wondering if there's any books with a small section about him and his work?

There's a bit on the BBC website with a couple of clips too. It's a bit dry possibly for a 7 year old. Why not just get her into code breaking. There are a few books on Amazon and they're fun. DS also got a lot out of the Usbourne Spy Guide. Bletchley's fab and so well thought out that you don't need to worry too much as she'll pick it all up while he's there. Thanks for reminding me as we might go back. Smile

Didn't even think of bbc site thanks! Code breaking an excellent idea too. I used to love all that, obsessed with spies and detectives. It's about time I brainwashed encouraged DD in the same direction Wink she's fairly secure with spelling now so I reckon it's a good time, thank you!

I'm so excited about going. We've wanted to for a while, especially DH - last night we decided to book a couple of nights in a hotel somewhere, looked at the map and saw Milton Keynes and thought "ooh I know..." :o

We went last summer and it was fab. The ticket is valid for a whole year, so you can go back the following day and carry on looking - there's so much (eclectic!) stuff there.
