Hi ! I really need bit of a help! I would like to write to the headmistress and to the head of governors praise letter about teacher who is teaching my child. English is not my first language and I find it so hard to put everything properly so I was wondering if anyone can comment or suggest on mistakes that I have made or things I should point!

Letter:
Dear Mrs .......
I am writing to you to let you know how much our daughter (name) has benefited from and enjoyed her classes with Miss...
According to dd and her friends, Miss... is by far the best teacher they have ever had.
Miss ... is truly standout teacher because of her sheer dedication to her students. She related the lessons to real-life examples that would make sense to her students.
In the past year,dd developed special love and interest in maths. She found Miss...very inspirational. DD would say "MISS....is strict, fair and inspirational" She knows every and each of her pupils very well, which is a gift, because she would know their strengths and weekness.
Miss ... is compassionate but firm, enthusiastic about her teaching!
The skills she thought dd are transferable but the most important thing,miss... took her time to develop confidence in the whole y5 class.
There are no words which would describe my appreciation and admiration that we have for miss...
(sch name),parents and pupils are very privileged and lucky to have such a lovely person and an amazing teacher like miss... to be part of it!

Miss... has such a unique and effective way in connecting with her pupils and we feel this should be recognised. She always fgoes extra mile with them, believe in children and that is something so important when they are growing up.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter, and please forward our appreciation to miss...,she deserves to be commended for the wonderful job she is doing ....

Thank you so much for reading this!!! I KNOW THERE ARE LOTS OF MISTAKES BUT CANT POINT WHWERE and I was wondering did I make it clear what I am trying to say???? Thank you...

Don't be embarrassed.
The school will know English is not your first language, and will value it all the more that you have made the effort to write.

Anyway, think about it. How many of the teachers at the school speak two langauges?!

that is much better than the one I sent in to the head today - I was really embarrassed about my grammar in it but it was the best I could do.

and dare I say it English IS my first language!
