Hi, our daughter just went through the 4+ assessments and was lucky to get offers from a few schools. We are deciding between Glendower, Ken Prep or Falkner House. We like certain things about all 3 schools and that is making the decision quite difficult. All insights, advice will be really helpful! We need to decide in the next 5 days. Many thanks in advance!!!1

Hi Girassol, I was wondering if you had made a choice and how you did it. We are facing the same decision (between Glendower and Ken Prep) and find the decision very difficult. Do you have the results for Glendower for years prior to 2012? I can't seem to find them. Thanks!

if you want your DD to do lots of sport, go for Glendower! Both great schools. You can't go wrong really!

HI GraceInTheCity, still struggling with the decision. Don't have the results of Glendower prior to 2012. Based on 2012 results look lot better than Ken Prep but can't just rely on statistics to make a decision. Love Ken Prep's space and facilities and the fact that they focus on independent and creative thinking. Everyone I've spoken to with daughters there is happy with the school but so are parents of Glendower girls. Have found Glendower a lot more welcoming and forthcoming with information about the school. Ken Prep is closer to us and am struggling to decide if the commute to Glendower is worth it. Class sizes are different, upper years in Glendower are 16 per class vs Ken Prep 23 for what is worth.
What are your thoughts?

Girassol, I've sent you a 'message poster' - you should see it in your inbox.

If KP is closer, you loved the space and you love its ethos it's a no-brainer to choose KP.

Ken prep is absolutely lovely. My daughter is in reception now and is blooming. Fantastic atmosphere in the school, older children all known to the little ones which generates nice inter generational feel. Reception teachers truly magnificent, really know their stuff and girls love them. Girls all very sweet and parents lovely, very welcoming atmosphere and collective spirit! Lots of creative artwork and music going on as well as very speedy learning to read and write.

Only challenge for us is we don't live in sw6 and its hard to get other girls to come to us for playdates as families are mostly v fulham-centred, but that's a minor issue!

Ken prep seems to get the girls into the schools they want to go to - so not sure you can compare results when classes are quite small.

My only gripe is think at 5 we should be doing lots of language work w children but none of the london schools seem to do this so not ken prep specific!

Thank you all so much for your advice and help! We went for Ken Prep in the end. Very happy with our decision and looking forward to the our daughter starting there in September.
However, having thought about it long and hard, don't think can go wrong with any of the schools.
