Party bag ideas for a fourth birthday

Just that really. Hope this is the right place to put this thread. (There'll be 24 at the party aged from 2 to 4 years, so far my only thought is a slice of cake).

Yep, it's going to be lots of plastic tat that we resent buying and they resent having to take home, right? I guess the children will enjoy it though.

If there's a theme like princesses etc you can order blow up wands from amazon pretty cheaply. Just give the party bag with cake and one more substantial thing. I've also in the past given a 'punch ballon' with or without rice inserted and an ice lolly...saved buying loads of the plastic junk. Good luck xx

five year old's party coming up but am not doing party bags this year am doing lucky dip and wrapping books with sweets, pencils, balloons etc because the plastic tat annoys me, and its bloody expensive!

the book people is good for book collections, but was in 'the works' today, they're doing a big buy one get one free sale, and i got disney colouring books - worked out 50p each

An inflatable balloon? I got a dolphin one once at a party when I was about 7 and was in ecstasy for about a week!
