My dd(11) had been a bit moody lately, not been eating properly and has been very withdrawn. I tried talking to her form teacher and her best friend but they didnt know so i looked in her dairy and she had written that her teacher is as fit as f* and that she was trying to get detention so she could be with him! My daugher is really mature and could get away for being 14/15! She says in her dairy that hes being lots of atention to her so im abot worried Hmm help please !

Well I think it's probably likely the extra attention is in her head. Although, if she likes him and is trying to win favour by being helpful and an ideal student or behaving extra badly, then maybe she is getting more attention in that way.

I'm really not sure what I would do I'm afraid other than hope, like most crushes, it will fizzle out and she will eventually wonder what on earth she was thinking.

I realise you were concerned about the change in your daughter's behaviour, but you should respect her privacy in future and not read her diary again.

My DH is a teacher, he has had a lot of female attention in the past. He just treated them like every other child - they are children.

Please don't read her diary, it's really peraonal and private. You need to respect her space.

I agree with previous posters, all young girls have a crush on a teacher at some time or another and I'm sure teachers are used to being on the receiving end. Plus, I bet the extra attention she thinks she's getting is imagined. I doubt you need to worry OP
