Preschool education

DD1 starts preschool tomorrow and I'm feeling rather unprepared

What does she need to take with her? I've got a lunch box/bottle/bag, but should she take spare clothes etc too or would they have that kind of thing there? She's potty trained but still has the occasional accident. Is there anything else I haven't thought of?

Most places have spare clothes/underwear in case of accidents.

I also put a tissue in their pocket in case of a runny nose! Have you had a practice run with the lunch box etc?

She's used the bottle but not the box, I figured she'd learn better watching the other children and trying to be grown up than listening to me

The tissue is a good idea, anything else?

I would put a spare pair of pants and trousers/skirt and socks just in case if they fit in her bag. If she does have an accident then she will probably feel better if she is wearing her own clothes. Also at DS1 pre-school sometimes they run out of clothes of certain sizes or boy/girls.

Other than that just her drink.

I would also take her a little treat for when she comes out DS1 gets a little chocolate or whatever treat you want to give her. This made DS1 happier about going in at first as I told him to think of his treat when he came out.

Good thinking gegs, I've got a cheque to pay in so I shall save that for afterwards, she loves our little trips to the post office
