Hi, advice please before i make a fool of myself when i get to the nursery!

DD has been going to nursery one day a week since she was 1. She is coming up 2 ( January ) and i have been chatting with a friend about preschool. Now i know 2 seems young but she really is very ready for something abit more. She counts to 12 knows her colours and speaks non stop.
Her nursery does preschool sessions and i need to find out when she can start with them. What i wanted to know is this -
Does anyone do the preschool session and then a half day at nursery, to make a full day up so to speak. I would like her to ideally do two preschool sessions and then two half days at her nursery...partly because shes ready and partly because her brother (one in March) will be going one day a week after Christmas, as i am due to have my third baby in February so would like one day a week with the new baby..... does that make any sense??

Anyway, if anyone can shed any light on anything i have asked please do so!

at our playgroup children go up to preschool a year before they go to school. preschool happens in the am then they can stay for playgroup with the younger children in the afternoon....not sure if that helps...
