Am working tomorrow and OFSTED will still be there, Work in a pre cshool setting so we get no warning that they were coming other than have been due one since begining of the year !

I know that as setting we will be OK but a bit nervous as to what I can expect to be asked etc etc .

Any help ?? Pleeeeaaaase !

they may ask you about child protection - what you would do if you suspected anything / who you would tell etc. That may include what you would do if you suspected another member of staff.
They may ask about the behaviour policies that are in place.
Most of the questions will be around the poicies that you have and how they actually work - how often things are checked etc. So things like how often you clean the toys / how do you deal with bad behaviour.
If you plan your own keyworker time or your own activities they may ask how you decide what you will do and how you measure the success of the activities.
Good luck, I'm sure it will be OK!

OK , thanks . Was having a look at recent reports on simialr settings . They dont seem to be as long as the one that we received in 2004 and they seem to be getting them published pretty quick.

We had ours in June, the lady cornered me in the cupboard and asked me...
How often we had our fire practice, what do we do..
What I would do if I thought a child was being abused
How I keep track of my key childrens progress..

good luck
