How old is your DS? I only ask as my ds aged 9months is full of snot at the moment, and even though he's the only child here at the moment, I still find it hard to wipe all his snot away - I'm at it constantly but there's still some escapes me and gets all dried up (yuk!)

What I'm saying is that I do sympathise as its not pleasant, but I imagine its very difficult for a nursery where there is not one to one attention, to clear up every bit of snot!

Perhaps just have a quick chat at nursery and say that his face is sore, could they try to wipe up as much as possible?

Hope he gets better soon, my ds has been snotty for weeks now!

my DS is snotty too
he goes to nursery and am afraid a permanently runny nose is a fact of life at this stage

as the PP says the nursery cannot present your children back to you in a pristine conditon at the end of the day ... too much other stuff to do!

DS Thanks for your feed back, it's my first time on mums net and it was really nice to read your comments... My son is 15 months old and like yours always has a snott box of a nose!!
I think I will take your advice and mention he has saw skin, he has actually got a few blotches at the mo so think I can get away with that one!!
But note taken your right, once at nursery be prepared for a snotty nose constantly!
xx

Hi Luckyleelj
I think I would be tempted, when collecting your ds from nursery to say in a loud voice " oh dear we have a very messy face today !!!" and hope they take the hint!!
Also welcome to mumsnet, the clever mums bible !!!!!!!
