Nice to know it wasn't just me, but shouldn't something be done about it?

No-one will remember this, but when dd2 first started going to nursery, after her first week there I was having concerns about it, and the expectations they seemed to have of my then 2yr 9mth dd. I moved her to a different nursery and was much happier. Anyhow, dd has conductive hearing loss and I had a meeting with the local authorities SENCO today. She wanted to know her entire history and I told her that she had previously been to another nursery and was moved as I didn't particularly like it. She asked me if I would mind telling her which one, and I did, to which she replied with raised eyebrows 'Oh right, I'm saying nothing!!'. Obviously, mine is not the first complaint about this place, and I just wonder why nothing had been done?!

Did you actually formally complain when you withdrew dd? If so, maybe you should ask the question to those responsible for allowing the place to stay open.

I was going to, I even had the letter written out, but then I chickened out because one of the women that works there lives down my road!! Silly of me I know but there you are, but the fact that this woman knew the place had a bad reputation worries me a bit.

No, I know what you mean I wanting an easy life. It maybe that her comments were based on one complaint.
