She knows that me and xp have split up and always makes a apoint of asking me how I am etc.

Anyway she took me to one side this morning and said she hoped I didn't think she was being nosey but how was I doing financially.
I said well not great tbh, have better weeks than others, and she said apparently there is a new neighbourhood fund thingy just started up at another local nursery and Ds's nursery can refer people to them for help with money problems etc and they can help you find out if there are any grants you are entitled too, extra tax credits and stuff like that. She said they have already reffered one mum and she got a grant she didn't even know exsisted.

I have to go and speak to the woman that runs the nursery when i go and get ds later and she will refer me on to them.

Thought it was so lovely of her to tell me about it, and she reassured me they are keeping an extra special eye on ds for me under the circumstances and that he seems to be absolutly fine.

Yes she is lovely, has a bit of a reputation for being quite strict but Dd2 and Ds both love her, ds was upset when she wasn't there the other day and said, but she holds the door open and says 'morning' and she's not here..........bless him.
