Don't believe it - yet again DS1 isn't going to have the same teacher all year......

because she's going on Maternity leave in the Spring term. Last year, in Reception, his teacher went off early on Maternity leave in the Summer term as her baby was 7 weeks premature - and has only just come back to teach this years Reception. Now his Yr1 teacher - who he adores - is having her first baby.

I'm just hoping that next year in y2 he has the only male teacher at the school......as the other yr2 teacher is 'of child bearing age' LOL.

I know - how dare these fantastic, lovely young teachers dare to start their families in the year DS1 is in their class.

Mind you - DH pointed out that the male teacher may go on Paternity leave in DS1's yr3

Mind you I'm busy trying to work out when she's due - the letter didn't say when in the Spring Term she'd be going on Maternity leave....and if she's leaving late in the term, and is going at the same time as DS1's reception teacher was planning to (7 months) then we could be due really close together !

I think she's probably due earlier than me.....well I'm hoping so - really don't want to be sharing a ward with DS1's teacher if I do end up in hospital having this DC LOL.
