hi there, i posted previously here www.mumsnet.com/Talk/preschool/2049900-info-needed-on-benefits-of-having-preschool-provision-on-a-school-site about our local preschool being told to leave the school grounds, which effectively will make it close.
We've now been told by the governors that the main reason for their decision to give the preschool notice was the conflict between the two different providers (a preschool and an out of hours kids club) using the same room and facilities. I know anecdotally there were problems with the changeover time being tight, the older kids breaking some of the preschool equpment etc. However none of these seem insurmountable problems!
I wondered if any of you lovely people have any tips/suggestions for helping situations like this run smoothly and how two different providers could co-exist. As I would like to challenge the decision and give some pro-active suggestions as to how the situation could be made to work to the benefit of all.
thanks so much in advance
