Books with intricate drawings/ schematics for 2 year old boy

DS1 is 2 and very into picture books with detailed pictures and schematic diagrams, I was hoping for suggestions for some more. He likes the Little Red Train books and also things like Haynes manuals! I was thinking about Where's Wally too. Any other suggestions that folks have come across please?

My ds loves Usborne's 1000s of things to spot. Very detailed illustrations.

Oh can't remember the name but we had some from the library where you had to find meerkats amongst really interesting settings, ds loved those!

There is a Thomas the Tank Engine Haynes manual.

Farmer Joe has some detailed pictures. Also Masie books have really intricate drawings if I remember correctly.

Our boys love Search and Find books, they have a Spider-Man one and a Toy Story one, as well as some Lego ones. There's a list of things to find in each double page spread. Not sure if that's what you're after.

The Usborne series of 'See Inside' books have lots of interesting flaps and different pictures to take in. There are all different titles, pirate ships, dinosaurs, castles etc.

My little boy can spend ages on the pirate ship one!

Little Red Train was first in my mind from the title... never mind!

Winnie the Witch/Korky Paul illustrated books
Brambly Hedge (may be better for older child?)
Church Mice books (although again, story may be more suited to older children)
Anthony Browne books (especially 'Look What I've Got' - brilliant, surreal illustrations; Magritte-like)
I Spy picture riddle books - quite hard for a 2yo but great fun to have around anyway!

The Alison jay books have lots of detail. 1000 things to spot are amazing but they don't seem to do the massive compendium anymore. We got it from book people and it is so good I went and got another copy as DS trashed his as he insisted on sleeping with it for about 6 months. All my other thoughts have already been mentioned!

I don't know if this is quite what you're after but the pictures in 'the foggy foggy forest'are v clever indeed.

As a child, I used to love soaking up the Dorling Kindersley Cross Section books.

Amazon have a great selection.

Another favourite was How Your Body Works, by Judy Hindley and Colin King, which shows various bodily processes reimagined as machines. (Although it's totally non-graphic, it does have a baby-making couple of machines, if that's an area you want to approach from your own angle).

Lovely illustrations in Janet and Allan ahlberg books and also babette Cole, usborne books with first 1000 words are good for talking points.
