Moving to Devon - can you recommend a good nursery or preschool?

My DS - 2.5 - currently attends a nursery near where we live in Oxfordshire - Bright Horizons, Mongewell - and he loves it. They have been great with him since he started at 9 months and we have never had any major issues with them.
We are now expecting our second child in July and as such are planning to move out west to Devon/North Devon to a bigger place whilst I am on Mat leave. Bright Horizons don't have any nurseries in Devon at all, so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of nurseries in the area or advice on where I might find a comprehensive list of nurseries and preeschools? DS will be just past his 3rd birthday by the time we move and maybe a preschool attached to a primary will be the way for us to go at that age? Any advice or comments on the best approach for this kind of move as well (settling in again etc) would be hugely appreciated!!

We moved from hearts to exeter 7 years ago and have never looked back. We love it here! We came with only a bit of savings a house to rent and no jobs! I'd never live anywhere else now, we love devon!no advice on. Ur series I'm afraid, worth checking ofsted and perhaps check out mumsnet local and see what they suggest

I have relatives in Devon who were very happy with this place:

It's not attached to a school though. Good luck with your move - and DC2!

Devon is pretty big! You might need to be more specific on location. There is actually a bright horizons in Plymouth but it's only open to employees of csa or their relatives. Busy bees plymouth is ex bright horizons and has kept all of the same ethos' I would highly recommend it!

Hi you might like to look at the Devon Early Years and Child Care Services website for information about settings in the area where you are moving to. Broadclyst Pre-school is next door to the Primary School, both have outstanding provision and are set in a lovely village in the outskirts of Exeter.
