If your DC goes to pre-school in the afternoon, what do you do in the mornings?

DD is just 3 and has started pre-school 5 afternoons a week. We've not gone to our usual toddler groups etc in the mornings while she's settling in but wonder if we should start going back to them.

On the one hand, it's a rush going to the groups, home for lunch, then pre-school and pretty tiring for her, but on the other hand she misses her friends (who go to different pre-schools), and I miss the social interaction. I also have a baby DS who sleeps most of the afternoon, and would like to take him out in the morning too.

Just wondering what others do. Hopefully she will switch to mornings after the summer.

I still go to morning activities but only every other day to try and prevent overtiredness

I change bath time to the morning on Nursery school days. String it out, lots of bath toys, water play etc for toddler and baby. Also means you're not having to bath an overtired child after nursery at the end of the day.
