Not sure why my previous message was lost? so just post again...

I am wondering if someone has heard or has any experience about Oliver's Montessori Nursery School in Belsize Park and Puss in Boots Nursery School NW3?

I'm interested in comments on the interaction between the staff/ teachers and kids, if the school is open about parent's opinion, mix of kids (behaviour) etc..

Thanks!

Hello there! we had the exact two choices for our son. We have gone for Oliver's Montessori over puss in boots even though we really liked the large space puss in boots has in the church and were very friendly. Despite of the rather small size of Oliver's the Montessori teaching approach was very promising and many of our friends recommended a child can really benefit from a montessori early on as they are going to go to a nursery after three anyway! You should go and check it out will give you a feel.
Let me know if you decide to go to Oliver's will be nice to know you! :)

I was very disappointed with Olivers Montessori. I found the staff very controlling and lacked the ability to judge a difficult situation that came up as their responsibility. The head was unable to deal with the situation in a professional manner. I felt that this was a nursery that was amateurishly and naively run, using it's location and the name "montessori" as a way to attract and draw parents in. I am reporting them to ofsted.

Hello, this sounds pretty concerning. What was the situation, and in what way did you feel let down?
