Hi, assuming you are after TinkerBellesMum, she gave birth to a little girl on the 2nd. They are on transition ward but are hoping to go home tomorrow or day after. They are both doing well and baby is bf well.

Hey all, thank you I'm back home now.

I am going to write my birth story and will be posting it soon, as you can probably imagine from everything I've been through it's a long 'un!

BTW, I had to have another GA in the end. We tried for a spinal but the anaethatist pressed on the vertebrae he needed and I nearly shot off the table! After three more presses he decided he wasn't happy with the way my back is and moved to a GA. Because it was more of a process I handled it much better this time. The following day I had a follow-up visit from the anaethatist and they think I have a fracture, in fact they're not sure how I have managed to cope for over three years on it!

4lb 8oz, 3.44am 2nd January, 35+5 weeks. And Sîan is gorgeous!

Tinkerbellesmum- huge Congratulations! So sorry your section was under GA again, but so glad you made it over 35 weeks, that is such good going considering everything - well done sweetheart. And welcome Sian (beautiful name by the way)
Really hope she is doing well and you are recovering well- and that Tink's enjoying being a big sister too! Lots of love to you all- will keep your family in our thoughts xx

Thanks all I've missed being able to log in this week and it's been nice to come back and see the messages that have been left for me and that people have been thinking about me.

I don't mind so much that I had a GA this time, it was more of a process and I think that it made a difference to me. I also didn't feel as ill from it but I think that's because there was a ? UTI when I was in labour so they put me on broad spectrum ABs and that prevented me from getting a throat infection this time.

I've posted my birth story, it's a bit long! We've had a very busy week

Tink has been in London today with her dad seeing her brothers, she got back quite late and first thing she had to do was look at her sister! I'm so pleased that she's taken so well to her. I had to pretty much turn them around though as she has tonsilitis I could see as soon as she walked through the door she wasn't well so pumped her full of Calprofen and called out of hours. The doctor didn't even return my call, her medical history speaks for itself now.
