Hi ladies! I've posted before and still pregnant :-D.

i went into Triage yesterday because they were concerned I had lost my plug..(I had a lit of green gooey sticky loss with a couple of brown streaks). My cervix is closed and they took a swab get results tomirrow or Saturday.
Also cervix is shut and stitch is in place and healthy.

Anyway today, my knickers have been Very damp and ive been out all day so was unable to change them. I've been getting a lot of pressure on the bottom of my stomach and vagina and have the cinstant feeling I need to pee but when i go its a drizzle. The knickers I've been wearing dont smell apart from a tint of sweetness and I dont think its discharge because it normally discolours my leggins. Am i just peeing and not knowing it?

I've got a few niggly pains in the bottom of mu stomach/ hips but nothing bad.

Also over the past few days babies movements have changed a lot, she's moved very low down and she only kicks into my vagina.. and I literally feel her about 5 times maxium during the day.. felt her once so far today..
Listened to her heartbeat yesterday was fine.

I don't want to keep wasting triages time and miney is so minimum so can't keep affording petrol..

Any advice? What do you think is happening?

My advice would be to go back to hospital I know it's a pain but it's better to be safe than sorry. I was leaking fluid for two days and didn't realise I was actually in labour. I went to the doc and he scanned me saying everything was fine but didn't do an internal scan. If he had've I might have been able to keep my twins in a bit longer. They were born at 25 weeks. Good luck x

I would at the very least ring up and speak to a midwife, they will tell you what to do.. U can't be to careful and they will only ever want to help/ reassure u not feel like your time wasting, ring them now and all the best x

I always try my midwife first but never get a reply, so triage is like my only option. I will ring them now and see what they say x

It is possible you've got a painless urine infection but combined with the change in movement and you having a stitch, the advice to get checked again is sensible. Or start with a phone call.

Haunted, I did think of that but then they checked my urine yesterday and never said anything.. they want me to go in. The woman sounded so miserable :-/. Can't go in until past 8 though because partner is still

The sweet smell could be fluids. Mine smelt very sweet when they went. Good luck. You're doing the right thing going back to hospital xx

Go checked out again asap! If you are indeed leaking amniotic fluid, as sounds possible (sorry), then going in now will mean there is time to give you the steroid shots - if you do go into labour they will be a great boost to LO's lungs.

How I know: My waters broke at 26 weeks. I also had damp, largely odourless/ sweet smelling patches. When labour started at 28 weeks it was very sudden & fast: had a scan at 3pm with the consultant telling me I was fine (she didn't believe me that I was in pain & didn't feel right); by 7pm I was fully dilated. Luckily I didn't listen to her - but I still have nightmares about scenario of being in labour at 28 weeks on crowded motorway home...

Anyway, go in - but fingers crossed it's a false alarm.

Waters have a distinctive sweet smell. Urine shouldnt be sweet unless in diabetes. The y confirmed mine had gone. Were leaking by lying me down then doing an internal after an hour to see what had accumulated. Also scans would show a drop in fluid levels although on my last one things seemed okay and I had an emergency section as started bleeding heavily and was told it was actually totally dry in there when they got to ds1. So he needed to be out and damn lucky in a way I had started bleeding.

When you see a MW, they can test by rubbing a special swab on the damp patch. It changes colour if it is your waters. It is the one time in life when a soggy maternity pad as a positive boon - so don't dry yourself off before you see them as they'll have nothing to swab.

Go back to the hospital. My waters went in a trickle over a week before I had my baby. I thought it was an incompetent bladder and then a UTI.

Just go, I have been in this situation and unlike other experiences above, my outcome was very negative.

Every time you are worried, go straight to hospital....

like what everyone else says - go back and make sure you are listened too.
Put a sanitary towel or pant liner in and they can test this to see if it is amniotic fluid.
I lost my waters at 25 weeks with a massive gush, there was no mistaking, however looking back, I was leaking little bits on and off from 19 weeks. I don't want to scare you, it may be nothing but it is always best to air on the side of caution. And if there is any doubt you can have steroid injections to help baby's lungs. good luck.

To add amniotic fluid has a sweet smell.
