Cow's milk at 1yo for premie?

My DD was born at 35 weeks (only just - 4 hours earlier it would've been 34 weeks) with severe IUGR weighing 3lb 4oz.

She's now 9 months old and doing really well, even though she has remained steadfastly 6 weeks behind term babies in reaching developmental milestones. (For example, she is only just this week learning how to sit up independently for a couple of minutes.)

I will be returning to work a couple of weeks before her 1st birthday and I'm wondering what to do about milk. She is EBF and we are doing baby led weaning so she still relies on milk for a lot of her calories.

Can I avoid expressing my milk and put her straight onto normal cow's milk during the day? I will still be breast feeding in the evenings.

I will post this in breast and bottle topic too but wanted the expert advice of this section too.

Thanks in advance. Smile

ds2 was born at 28wks we continued with his prescription milk until about 18months, he does however have bowel/digestion problems.
Assess how she is at the time, if her digestive system has coped with feeding/weaning without any problems then cows milk should be ok
