Have read lots of bad reviews... have there been any improvements or is it still totally unreliable?

We bought one for dd3 in May, and it's been a great success. Having had a britax travel system in the past, I found the cherry much more easy to use, very easy to push, light, comfy and cosy for dd3, generally great. I would buy one again.

The only problem we had was after a beach holiday when the wheels started locking and dh had to take them apart to get the sand out - but it's not an all-terrain buggy designed for sand etc.

I read that following the initial problems with the chassis in 2007, they were redesigned slightly, and any bought 2008 onwards should be better.

No, not at all! I think its FAB! I did a lot of research before I purchased mine about 6 months ago and they seemed to have ironed out all their problems. It is absolutely feather weight and I love the fact that I can have my little bub facing me or away from me which is very important to me. Great value for money and not Bugaboo prices!

No, it's great. They resolved the problems with the chassis so if you buy one now it should be fine. We've been using ours since May, first with the carrycot and now with the stroller.

Only problem, if you are considering the carrycot for a newborn, is that it is small and they grow out of it before 6 months.

I've really liked mine - had it nearly 18 months.

we got ours when they first came out. we've had some problems with chassis and wheels but i've heard they were some design faults that have now been ironed out.

pretty much the same as the others. I bought mine in 2007 and had a few problems initially with the wheels and chassis but got all the bad bits replaced and since then its been great. I still really like it and I reckon you'll be fine now. Maybe ask at the store you are going to get it from what their policy is on issues after purchase.
