Higher body temperature during pregnancy?

Does this happen at all (am 30 weeks) or does it mean i am ill? My temp is up to 38 degrees. I had a chest infection for a long time which took alot of antibiotics to clear but no signs of that for 2 weeks or so now and yet my temperature is still going up and down. Midwife didnt seem to think it was normal but I dont feel ill otherwise so I am at a bit of a loss....

thanks

I don't want to leave you unanswered and I don't know about later pregnancy but if you take your temperature to aid conception one of the signs that you are actually pregnant is a consistently raised tempreture.

thanks peachygirl :-)
Yes i know that is the case with conception, as you say just dont know if it continues? The fact that midwife was concerned implies not, but i cant work out why it is carrying on so long otherwise ?
