Tummy going hard at 15 weeks???

I am 15 weeks pg with my second child. I do actually have a noticeable bump (I think my stomach muscles are shot) for the last couple of days my tummy keeps going hard. It is not painful but it does sometimes take my breath away.

What could it be?

braxton hicks can start that early especially when its not your first baby. if its not painful I wouldn't worry

I had really really strong braxton hicks all the way through 2nd and 3rd pregnancies. It was no prblem at all. I always did wonder though if all those practice contractions were the reason I shot 2nd out in under two hours and then 3rd in under one hour

Just bumping this as I've also had this since about 16 weeks and was gonna start a thread about it, it's really noticable now and I can tell when it's happening without having to feel. My tummy goes rock hard for about 30 seconds quite a few times a day.

At first I thought it was the baby rolling forward but now it's obvious it's not. This is my first and everyone keeps telling me it can't be braxton hicks, but I'm sure it is. Is this a problem do you think?

It sounds like braxton hicks, but mention it to the MW on your next visit, or call her for reassurance.

Thanks for the posts, they do feel like braxton hicks but I didn't think you could get them this early!! Obviously I was wrong lol.

Not at all worried about them as they are not painful or even uncomfortable but they are noticeable.

satheresitting, I know when I was pg with my first, I got lots of braxton hicks but not this early. Obviously it can happen, but if you are worried at all call and speak to your midwife.
