Hello
Has anyone been for a 4d scan this late (32+5) and had good images?

We went at 30wks and had brilliant results (pic on my profile but the DVD didnt record on the system so they have offered us a re-scan free of charge, but its now beyond the deadline for the ideal window for this type of scan.

Will be great to see baby on the screen again but will be disappointing if pictures arent as good.

Thank you

as it free of charge, i would just see it as another chance to have another sneak preview of your LO tbh. I think the clearness of the pics depends on how much fluid you still have.

Ah ok thanks hopefully fluid levels are ok still

Technically, it's not really free of charge. It was their error (didnt format DVD before scan and didnt test it before taking our money) and we had option of refund or rescan. Since getting the DVD was point of going for original scan we thought it was worth a try, despite the second trip to the clinic (hours drive each way) being at our cost etc.

We couldnt do it any sooner as they didnt have another clinic until tomorrow (previous one 9th Jan) so delay between scans is also not our fault.

So if the quality is bad we effectively lose our DVD money- however, we get to see the baby on the screen

Hi Gyo

I would go for it. It seems plenty of people have had theirs later and had great photos. I think the pics depend more on how big your baby is, not on the fluid. If he/she is too big and squashed, there's not much room to get good pics.

Hello - just to update, went for the re-scan bn sat and results were brilliant. Got 15mins of DVD and loads more b&w 3D prints. Need to scan them in but we were really pleased.

Snographer said clarity depends on position of baby and amount of fluid in front of face... think we were lucky to have two scans with such good results!
