Anyone find a great pair of maternity jeans? I have to go looking at the weekend and don't enjoy shopping so if you have suggestions I'm happy to take them on board and save a bit of time! I normally love French Connection jeans... but if there are any other good high st ones out there let me know!

I like top shop maternity stuff and my sister showed me the asos maternity clothes last night. May stop at the leather leggings though!

Seraphine, they have the best styles IMO.
You can often get them on ebay if you donT want to buy new (are quite £££).

I am v happy with the Topshop Eva jeans (£40, although you can buy BNWT on ebay), but think Next jeans are rubbish (skinny jeans? More like jodpurs). The Topshop ones are under the bump, which it some MNers don't like, or do but don't like once you get to a certain size. They are fine for me so far. When you go shopping, can I suggest a bump band? They "cover your bump" as well as the ugly elastic bits that all maternity clothes have, as well as hold up / in jeans that are too big. You can get them from Next, ASOS and New Look. Prob other places too.

I have only bought one pair of straight leg (under bump with a stretchy bit that goes up nice and high) Zara jeans (blue) during my pregnancy. They cost £40. They are the skinny side of straight, if you know what I mean. I still like them, 7 months and no other jeans later! I tried on Topshop and New Look ones but hated them. Decent, well fitting jeans during pregnancy, as at all other times, are hard to find as we are all such varying shapes!

Cool- thanks for the tips! I will check out the Topshop Eva jeans - I love the cut from looking at their website, so hope they look good on too! Will also try Zara - didn't realise they did maternity wear - great

I couldn't find any decent jeans in my first pregnancy - I don't get on with the under bump style as they just fall off me - and just bought big sizes and used a belt (didn't work very well!) until I switched to comfy trousers at about 7 months. But I've just been shopping again for 2nd time around wardrobe, and found the most brilliant jeans in Jo Jo Maman Bebe, they are over the bump and just made of stretchy denim and cut well. Sooooo comfortable, bliss!

I'm almost evangelical about H&M over the bump straigt leg jeans. They made my legs look really slim and I got lots of compliments!

EvieBear - what size do you normally wear? I have around 5 pairs of maternity jeans - I too like French Connection jeans when I am not pg- these are all Topshop bar one pair which are James Jeans (designer make which cost over £100). I am due in 1.5 weeks and will be looking to offload them (not for much) to clear my wardrobe. Let me know if you are interested. They are all in great condition.

Meant to add that the jeans are all a size 10 or small 12. I am usually an 8/10 but find I need slightly larger maternity jeans.

oh if you like Zara, you should know that their range is very small, and every time I go in I need to ask where it is (literally one small rail, not very well signposted and moved around a lot)

Evie - sorry only just had chance to get online. I will obviously need them for the next couple of weeks (due 3 Feb) but as soon as I have finished with them, I will email you some pics. How many weeks are you now?

There are at least 3 pairs (2 Topshop and 1 pair of James Jeans) that I don't wear at the moment as they are too tight so I will take some pics of them and put them on my profile. There are a pair of Boyfriend style Topshop jeans which have had good innings, I would throw them in for free for you as they will only get left in my wardrobe. I think all in all I have

these I think in a size 10 (these are quite worn (in good condition, just they wash out) but wouldn't charge you for them in you wanted any of the others and

these in Indigo AND Black in a size 12 and a similar pair (bought in my last pregnant 18 months ago in a paler denim but not on website, also in a 12

these in a size 10 in black and Indigo and

these in a very similar style in a size 28

PHEW!

I have accumulated these over my last 2 pregnancies so I am not a total freak...
