I can't describe it as anything but a click or a pop and it is definately coming from my tummy. A few times a day it happens. Anyone else experienced this as it doesn't seem to be in the books?xx

There are lots of threads on here about clicking babies/tummies. I had one. No-one knows what it is, but be assured it is totally fine. Midwives may not believe you though, unless they hear it for themselves.

I had this in my first pregnancy. MW thought I was barking. Baby was fine - no idea to this day what it was. Second baby had no clicking noises at all. Don't think it's anything to worry about.

I had this too, it sounded like a small sharp click, like nails being clicked together. Never did find out what it was, but birth and baby were fine.

I thought I was going mad at first but it seems like lots of people have had it from looking at other internet sites as well, no explanations tho. Thanks for your replies x

Just me85, yep had this past week, I am as far on as you too. Sounds like clicking knuckles or something, wondered if it the ligaments clicking when stretching cos it seems to happen when there is some movement. Pure guess of course! Strange that it seems commonplace and no-one knows the science behind it. I'm sure there was a thread about it some time ago, or else I would have been a little freaked out!

I had it too, it stopped no0w though. I am 36+2. In the beginning I thought it was hiccups, but apparently mnot. Hiccups I had after, they were different.
