Hello! don't worry, at this stage feeling less could just mean the baby has turned around and is facing inwards, if you see what I mean. There's still lots of room in there so you won't necessarily feel it all the time, even though it is moving around.

Try having something sugary (coke is good) to gee the baby up, or have a bath - I often find when I'm in the bath the baby has a little dance.

As long as you can feel some movement, then try not to worry. If you feel nothing at all for 24 hours then ring your midwife and see if she'll fit you in to listen to the heartbeat.

I'm about 25 weeks now and the movements are much stronger now, I do remember 18 weeks being rather intermittent.

HTH.

Personally nothing much until about 21 weeks and even then irregular. At 26 weeks now and there are days I can't remember feeling it move but the next day I'll feel it again. I think some of the movements are cusioned by the placenta. This baby is a lot less active than my first but at 18 weeks I didn't feel much at all.

I didn't feel anything at this stage - it could be baby's position, increased amniotic fluid etc. I do understand why're you're worried. I'm sure there's no reason to be, but talk to your mw about getting a check to put your mind at rest. Good luck.

I'm not sure specifically about 18 weeks because I think I was still feeling "tickling" only at this stage. BUT when I was 20 weeks I remember having loads of movement one day and then the next day felt practically nothing. It was the day of my scan. It turned out that the baby was quite curled up and although it was spinning around like mad I couldn't actually feel it. I think that the amount of movement that you feel depends on the position of the baby? I think that it is probably fine, but if you are really worried then get MW to check heart beat.

I am 19 weeks pg and bubby moves everyday several times a day. In fact it seems to be constantly on the move. I have also started feeling the odd braxton hicks which is kind of wierd

ohh mrsleroyjethrogibbs im glad you said that about the braxton hicks. i too thought i felt these a few days ago and after what happend with the twins and having a risk of premature birth i was pacing the room like a woman possesd thinking my waters were going to go early. think im overthinking this too much seem to walk around in my own little world all day thinking of the worst.
