Hi all
had a routine blood test at 29 weeks, and they picked up high level of glucose in my blood : 7.0.
Could be due to the act that , silly me, drunk cup of tea with honey just before the test...what was I thinking?? But then again , i just remembered I had trace of lucos...something in my urine test at 29 weeks again ( honey related??)
Anyway, I will be tested for glucose tolerance test next week. Just wanted to know what is the norm, as I have 7.0? How far is it from the norm then?
anyone knows? Never had diabetes before, but then you know there is always 1st time. PG women do develop diabetes in preganncy sometimes apparently. No wonder my bump is huge for being PG 30+3 .

I had a blood sugar reading of 8, subsequent GTT showed no problems. Have another test this week cos one of my urine tests was a tad high. I don;t think 7 is far off the norm though.
