MISDEE moved house today, but had small knock on her bumpy. Shes not worried about the baby as she is moving loads, no bleeding or pain ect. BUT she needs anti D injections for baby, but doesnt know how long to wait before she has to go in. She's no hime phone and internet, so she asked me to ask you wonderful ladies. TIA Lisa

Unless it was a big thump, its unlikely to cause any bleeding (which can cause fetal cells to reach mums circulation). But still worth having it checked.

She will probably have a blood test (kliehauer) to see if she needs anti-D and how much, unless she is due a prophylactic dose anyway and they might just give that.

Recommended that anti-D should be given within 72 hours of the event, so she could go in tomorrow morning if she doesnt fancy a late night in hospital!
